The wire arrangement in the logo proposal for Sowing Atacama is inspired by the khipus, an information recording system used by the Incas.

The khipus consisted of strings and knots that were used to record a wide range of information, such as accounting records, genealogies, stories, and other vital aspects of Inca culture. The geometric lines in the Sowing Atacama logo draw inspiration from the knots and bindings found in khipus. It's as if the logo is encoding a secret and mysterious message, inviting observers to unravel its profound meaning.

The khipu was a symbol of wisdom and power in Inca culture. The khipukamayuq, the khipu specialists, were highly respected for their ability to decipher encoded messages. Much like the khipu, the Sowing Atacama logo represents a connection to ancient wisdom and the hidden power of nature.
